The Chestnut Ridge Chapter provides disaster relief assistance to individuals and
families affected by natural and man-made disasters in the City of Latrobe, Derry
Township, Derry Borough, Ligonier Borough, Ligonier Township and Unity Township.
In addition, our office in Arnold reaches out to Washington Township, Arnold, New
Kensington, East Vandergrift, West Vandergrift, Vandergrift, Upper Burrell, Lower
Burrell, Allegheny Township, Hyde Park, Oklahoma Borough, and West Leechburg.
Red Cross disaster relief focuses on meeting people's immediate emergency disaster-
caused needs. When disaster strikes, the Red Cross provides shelter, food, clothing,
and health and mental health services to address basic human needs. The core of
Red Cross disaster relief is the assistance given to individuals and families affected
by disaster to enable them to resume their normal independent lives.
