AQUATICS SCHEDULE
The American Red Cross Chestnut Ridge Chapter, Latrobe Office
will be offering the following aquatic class:

LIFEGUARD TRAINING

Where: Greater Latrobe High School Pool
When:  Swimming Pre-Test – Friday March 14th, 2008
6:30-10:00PM
-Class is scheduled Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings
beginning Friday March 14th through Wednesday April 30th.
(Complete course schedule will be given to all participants upon successful completion of the
Swimming Pre-Test.)

Attendance is mandatory for all class sessions.
(Registration required)

Registration Deadline - Wednesday March 5th, 2008

Time:  6:30PM - 10:00PM

Cost:  $120.00 per participant.  
(This includes all materials and certifications.)

In order to be accepted into the American Red Cross Lifeguard Training
Program, participants must successfully complete the Swimming Pre-Test.


Participants should plan on picking up the necessary
materials prior to the first class.

Payment in full is due prior to the required Swimming Pre-Test.

CLASS SPACE IS LIMITED!!

PREREQUISITES FOR THE AMERICAN RED CROSS-
LIFGUARD TRAINING COURSE

1. Minimum age: 15 years old by the last date of the course.

2. Swim 300 Yards Continuously.

3.  Starting in the water, swim 20 yards using front crawl or breaststroke,
surface dive 7-10 feet, retrieve a 10-pound object, return to the surface,
swim 20 yards back to the starting point with the object and exit the water
without using a ladder or steps, within 1 minute and 40 seconds.
