AQUATICS SCHEDULE
The American Red Cross Chestnut Ridge Chapter, Lower Burrell Office in
conjunction with Kiski Area High School will be offering the following aquatic
class:

LIFEGUARD TRAINING

Where: Kiski Area Sr. High School Pool
When:  Swimming Pre-Test – Saturday, April 26th, 2008
Complete course schedule to be determined
after the Swimming Pre-Test
-Class is scheduled evenings during May 2008.
Attendance is mandatory for all class sessions.
(Registration required)
Registration Deadline - Tuesday April 15th, 2008
Cost:
 $125.00 per participant.  
(This includes all materials and certifications.)

In order to be accepted into the American Red Cross Lifeguard Training
Program, participants must successfully complete the Swimming Pre-Test.


Payment in full is due upon successful
completion of the Swimming Pre-Test.

PREREQUISITES FOR THE AMERICAN RED CROSS-
LIFGUARD TRAINING COURSE

1. Minimum age: 15 years old by the last date of the course.

2. Swim 300 Yards Continuously.

3.  Starting in the water, swim 20 yards using front crawl or breaststroke,
surface dive 7-10 feet, retrieve a 10-pound object, return to the surface,
swim 20 yards back to the starting point with the object and exit the water
without using a ladder or steps, within 1 minute and 40 seconds.
